Looking back at one of the best decision of my life — Amal Reflections

The year of the pandemic brought disruption to the entire global phenomenon we were anxious, afraid and sad both for us and all of our loved ones, for their health and education in those dark times I got the chance to enroll in the Amal fellowship program , to be very honest I never thought that distance learning could be that impactful but our facilitators(and also two of our favorite inspirations) Sir Zaki and ma’am Namra couldn’t have done a batter job in creating an impact and changing our perspectives. Also other facilitators like Sir Awais(for the course content) and the facilitators who were kind enough to make up for any uncertainty were also Awesome.

so now cutting it short ill share few things that I developed as the result of this fellowship accompanied by the memorable moments which triggered them.

1. the edhi drive ,although we were not able to give our 100% efforts but it made us realize that when going through the journey it should not be the beauty of the path that motivates you, it is actually the desire to achieve the destination no matter how unpleasant the journey is.
2. the video intro ,this was a huge step out of my comfort zone for me to share my thoughts in front of the entire batch as a video. I did a few mistakes but the overall experience was phenomenal.
3. the one to one session, our program manager sir zaki is really smart and provide with very thoughtful and concise suggestions for professional and personal life scenarios.
4. my LinkedIn intro, initially i was hesitant to post an introductory status to my LinkedIn account but with the thoughtful and insightful suggestions of ma’am Namra our incredible program associate i was finally able to break ice with my LinkedIn network.

last but not the least my entire Amal batch, made up of fantastic people who are supportive and energetic you guys will remain with me through out my life in my heart in form of deep inspirations and role models I am lucky to have you all and pray to God that all of you have a satisfying life and all of you keep inspiring others the way you inspired me.
